  • Evaluation of the Effects of Varying Impeller Hardness and Material on LCPC  Rock Abrasivity Test. Funded under the National Research Program for Universities (NRPU) of Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. Since June 2018 to date. P.I. Prof. Dr. M. Zubair Abu Bakar (Pak Rs. 2.07 Million)
  • Abrasivity Characterization of Selected Rock Formations of Pakistan. Funded by University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore, Pakistan.  Since 2012 -2017, Completed. P.I. Prof. Dr. M. Zubair Abu Bakar (Pak Rs. 1.0 Million)
  • Evaluation of the Drillability of Selected Rock Formations of Pakistan. Funded by University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore, Pakistan. Since 2012 to date, P.I. Prof. Dr. M. Zubair Abu Bakar (Pak Rs. 1.0 Million).
  • Landslide Hazards Evaluation Study of Gilgit-Hunza and Astore River Basins, Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan using GIS & Remote Sensing Tools. Funded under the National Research Program for Universities (NRPU) of Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. Since January 2019 to date. PI. Dr. M. Farooq Ahmed, Co-P.I. Prof. Dr. M. Zubair Abu Bakar (Pak Rs. 2.82 Million).
  • Investigation of Low-Cost Barrier Materials for Solid Waste Disposal Sites of Pakistan.
